Here are the latest updates for Texas A&M Football recruiting, including a four-star cornerback who kept the Aggies in his final five.

Texas A&M took a minor blow in recruiting when four-star cornerback Bobby Wolfe backed out of his pledge to the Aggies about a month after verbally committing.

Well, that doesn’t mean he is not still open to returning as he recently tweeted his decision is coming soon, and the Aggies remain among his final five schools. A Big 12 school was conspicuously left off the list.

More: Texas A&M spends more on recruiting than any other Texas school.

Wolfe had received an offer from the University of Oklahoma but they are obviously no longer in the running. Our friends down the road in Austin are not on the list, either. Arkansas was a new addition to the list.

Wolfe de-committing was about allowing more time than anything else, according to the statement he released when he made the announcement. He made his official visit to Texas A&M on the weekend of the Maroon And White Game, and has made no other official visits according to 247Sports.

Given how successful that weekend seemed to be for Jimbo Fisher, it wouldn’t be a surprise for Wolfe to commit to the #GigEmGang19 class yet again.

Wolfe is the 23rd ranked cornerback in the class and the 33rd ranked overall prospect in the state of Texas. He would join a potentially stacked secondary. The Aggies brought in the eighth and 19th best safeties in the 2018 class and have verbal commitments from the No. 1 and No. 7 safeties in the 2019 class.

There may only be room for two of them to play safety, but you need all the secondary help you can get in college football these days.
