3. Trayveon is ballin

The Aggie offense has been a little inconsistent this season, but Trayveon Williams has balled out in a few games this season. He actually struggled against Clemson and Alabama, who might have the nation’s top two defensive lines, but had two good games against Arkansas and Kentucky the last two weeks.

After the Aggies’ win over Kentucky, there was a new leading rusher in the SEC at the halfway point.

Williams did very well against Kentucky’s great defense that had stymied several SEC offenses this season already. He racked up 210 yards from scrimmage and scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime. He also had 165 yards from scrimmage and two rushing touchdowns against Arkansas.

Jimbo Fisher hasn’t been afraid to lean on his workhorse. The Aggies will need him to continue the performances of the last two weeks in their five remaining conference games. Three of those are against ranked opponents.
