Texas A&M Football is benefitting from NCAA guidelines with CB Myles Jones

Myles Jones is a super senior for the Aggies. He played out his normal four years with the team but is taking advantage of an extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA for all winter sports athletes.

Jones wasn’t an extremely highly-regarded high school prospect, but has come to College Station and steadily improved in each of his four seasons.

In his four seasons with the Aggies, he has accumulated 6 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 28 passes deflected, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Unlike Jaylon Jones, another cornerback who brings sheer talent to the field, Myles Jones knows the game better than any player in this team’s secondary. In his 5th season, he’ll return as the heart and soul of this defense. The big-bodied cornerback can keep the team organized, providing veteran energy to a team that is returning a boatload of talent.

Expect Jones to have his best season yet, coming back faster and stronger than ever. He’ll be motivated to push his name into the conversation of the 2022 NFL Draft, so he should be playing with a high level of energy.
