Texas A&M Football opponent No. 6: Alabama Crimson Tide

This is the game. The Aggies won every single one of their contests last season but were blown out by the Crimson Tide in a game where their defense was uncharacteristically awful. This will be a revenge game for a Texas A&M Football team that wants to prove its worth in an SEC conference that they’re still relatively new to.

And if there’s a year that the Aggies can pick off Alabama, it’s 2021. Texas A&M returns a boatload of experience on the defensive end, while ‘Bama will be trying to put together the pieces after Mac Jones and almost their entire offense departed for the NFL.

The Aggies will get ‘Bama in College Station, setting up for, at the very least, an incredible matchup between these two teams.

Jimbo Fisher will have some worries on the offensive end, as he has to replace almost his entire offensive line and his quarterback. That said, the Aggies’ offense wasn’t very explosive in previous years, so this could turn out to be a positive by the time this game swings around.

If Texas A&M can keep Alabama under 30 points, they have every chance to win this game. That said, I think they’ll come close and fall just short of a win against Nick Saban’s dynasty. Unlike last season, this one will be a close game, keeping the Aggies’ College Football Playoff chances alive.

Prediction: Loss, 5-1
