Colorado Buffaloes

Now, read this next few sentences carefully before you come out roasting me for my pick. I do not believe Colorado would pose any threat to A&M if the game was played was outside of the Mile High City. I believe Colorado will be an average to above-average team at most.

I do not believe they will be world beaters in any sort of way. With that out of the way, I will now dive into why this is my first pick.

If any of my readers have been to Denver, you know it is very different than most places you have been. Imagine playing football there after playing in the Texas heat all summer. The oxygen level is low and Colorado plays a very physical game. With the correct adjustments, I believe A&M will have this game in control but I will not be surprised if the conditions surprise the players, especially in the first half.

If Colorado can make this a grind-it-out, pound the ball running, and work the clock kind of game, this could definitely spell trouble for the Aggies. Texas A&M will need to ensure they are ready with their conditioning and control the clock in this game or their playoff hopes will take a huge hit just 2 weeks into the season.
