Texas A&M Aggies @ Colorado Buffaloes

2020 Record: 4-2

Key Players: Sam Noyer (QB), Jarek Broussard (RB), and Nate Landman (LB)

Notable Stats from 2020: 218 Rushing YPG, 377 Yards Allowed PG, 46 Tackle for Losses, and 421 YPG

Analysis: Colorado jumped on the scenes last year as a team that was initially picked 5th in their PAC 12 South Division finished 2nd. Their QB Sam Noyer was playing on defense in 2019 and came out to win the starting job. This team loves to run the ball and to play hard-nosed football.

Jarek Broussard is a very talented running back that can put the gas on in the open field as well as being extremely shifty. They are pretty well balanced but this team much rather run the ball than get in a passing situation. Sam Noyer is coming off surgery and will miss all of Spring ball so the QB position could be up for grabs come fall. When they get the running game going this team is hard to stop, but in the two games, Jarek Broussard had less than 85 yards running they lost.

I do not think this game is going to be an easy win. For one, playing in Denver with an altitude of 5280 feet compared to College Station at 338 feet is going to present many challenges physically to A&M. Mix that in with a physical team that will have all their O-line back except for 1 person, this could be a test that A&M will need to be ready for. I believe A&M will win but I do not believe it will be a blowout as many projected it to be.

Score Prediction: 42-31 Texas A&M
