The Texas A&M Football team doesn’t have to worry about home-field advantage against Arkansas

The Texas A&M football team sort of lucks out in this department. Rather than playing in a hostile environment in Fayetteville, this game will take place in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. If anything, this could serve as a home game for the Aggies, though it’s more of a neutral-site situation.

If there was a home-field advantage for Arkansas, the Aggies would be in big trouble here. Instead, they’ll be staying in their home state. With the advantages in momentum that Arkansas will hold, this is a huge boost to the Aggies’ chances of continuing their undefeated season.

That said, the Razorbacks have been known to bring a big crowd, even to out-of-state games like this. There should be a good fan turnout that has this NFL stadium bumping on Saturday night.

Still, this signifies a return to normalcy rather than a deviation from the normal routine. Last year, these two teams played at Kyle Field during a season where COVID-19 was meddling in everybody’s business.

Jimbo Fisher will appreciate the return to a neutral site at a good time.
