Texas A&M Football Commit No. 2: Conner Weigman is the best QB recruit in College Station in a long time

The fact that Conner Weigman, a five-star quarterback prospect, is the third-highest player on my list should speak volumes about this 2022 Aggie recruiting class.

Weigman is a top baseball prospect to go along with his quarterbacking prowess. This is on full display on the football field, where he can hurl the ball further than virtually any other high school quarterback.

The Aggie commit is also an elite scrambler, as is evident by his 1,310 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns through the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Weigman will eventually look to fill Haynes King’s shoes down the road.

Heck, with some quarterback issues in College Station now, Weigman could even compete for the spot as soon as his freshman year. This all depends on Haynes King’s recovery, Zach Calzada’s performances moving forward, and everything in between.

Either way, Texas A&M has one of the best quarterback prospects in the country heading to College Station next year.
