Advantage No. 2: The Texas A&M football team has more star power than the LSU football team

This one isn’t so much of a tangible advantage. Rather, this advantage will likely show the importance of having star players in college football.

And as rough as the Texas A&M football team has looked this year, its roster is chock-full of superstar players. You can start with the obvious guys on the defensive end like DeMarvin Leal, but the Aggies actually have more offensive superstars.

This list includes three players who will likely be first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, starting with runningback Isaiah Spiller. Spiller has 984 yards, nearly 150 more than LSU’s starting runningback in Tyrion Davis-Price. Heck, even the Aggies’ backup runningback in Devon Achane has more yards than LSU’s leader.

A&M also has two more superstars offensively in Kenyon Green and Jalen Wydermeyer, both of whom are in the running for yearly awards.

LSU has a handful of players, but none of their current offensive starters will be confused for college football superstars.
