Texas A&M Football Commit No. 4: 5-star DL Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy

The Texas A&M football team’s most recent commitment came as a pretty big surprise for most fans.

In October, five-star Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy committed to the Oklahoma Sooners in a heartbreaking recruiting battle for the Aggies. A&M presumably came in second place, missing out on this top ten prospect.

In a more positive turn of events for A&M, however, Oklahoma’s head coach in Lincoln Riley left the program. This had recruiting implications for the Sooners immediately, with Brownlow-Dindy de-committing and flipping to the Texas A&M Aggies.

Brownlow-Dindy is one of the top players in the 2022 class and can have an immediate impact on an Aggie defensive line that is losing DeMarvin Leal. The 6’3, 280-pound interior lineman should see early playing time for Texas A&M.

Texas A&M Football Commit No. 3: 5-star WR Evan Stewart

Technically speaking, Evan Stewart is the 3rd-highest-ranked prospect in the 2022 class and the top overall receiver prospect, so why do I have him at the third spot on this list? For starters, I didn’t want to just copy and paste 247Sports’ rankings. More seriously, however, the number two player on this list will come at the perfect time.

That said, Evan Stewart is a generational talent at the wide receiver spot. The 6’0″, 175-pound wideout is one of the most athletic players in his class and was targeted by any school that wants to win anything of value over the next few seasons.

After a rough pair of seasons for Texas A&M wide receivers, Stewart’s arrival will be warmly welcomed.
