Conner Weigman

A part of the Texas A&M football team’s historic 2022 class comes in as one of the best quarterbacks in the country. The number two QB and number 22 recruit in the country comes in with not just an arm that can deliver perfectly placed passes but legs that will force defenses to have a QB spy on him every play. Conner Weigman continuously found ways to make winning plays no matter the situation. Through his three years starting varsity he averaged 247 passing yards per game, 57 rushing yards per game, and 98 TDs just barely under a 5 to 1 TD/INT ratio.

The Case: In today’s world with the transfer portal you do not want to let talent like this sit too long. Conner Weigman has all the tools to be a starter from day one. Quick decisions, perfectly placed passes, and feet that will make you pay if you look away for one second. This kid is the real deal. After watching tape regardless of what is happening on the field he seems to make a play. He will likely play a few snaps for Sam Houston State and App State but If he picks up the playbook quickly he will start on the first day.
