IT’S GAMEDAYYYYYYY!!!!

Texas A&M football is finally here and they are ready to take on the Sam Houston State Bearkats today. The last time these two faced, it was a blowout to say the least as the Aggies took home the win 65-28. However, that was back in 2013, and now, the Bearkats have looked really good recently.

In fact, SHSU won the FCS national championship just back in 2020, and now they’re making a move to the FBS. Last season, they went 11-1 and enjoyed a perfect regular season before being upset in the playoffs by Montana State.

For the Aggies, they come off a rollercoaster 8-4 season, where the highs were high and the lows were low. However, now the Aggies look very well rounded and have all the tools to compete for a College Football Playoff spot. They have their starting quarterback back in Haynes King and they look to have a more explosive offense this season.

Texas A&M football vs Sam Houston State betting odds, spread, over/under, and betting pick

The Aggies go into their season opener as -30 point favorites and the over/under is set at 52 points, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Using my game-by-game predictions for Week 1, I don’t expect the Aggies to cover the spread, but it is more than possible. I do, however, have the two teams getting over the total of 52 points set for them.
