Will 5 Star Athlete Terry Bussey Commit to the Aggies?
Texas A&M Football in the mix for 5-star Terry Bussey
After an extremely successful summer of recruiting, Texas A&M football could continue its momentum with a commitment from the country’s top-ranked athlete, Terry Bussey. Bussey is set to commit on September 28th at 3:45 PM CT and is choosing between Texas A&M, Texas, Alabama, LSU, and Oklahoma.

Bussey has been very high on Texas A&M football, and was even rumored to commit to the Aggies at the recruiting pool party in July, but he decided to wait and set a commitment date of September 28th. Bussey still has Texas A&M high on his list, and some have predicted him to land with the Aggies. He received 4 crystal balls back in July, but there has been little intel on his decision since then.
Bussey had a fantastic junior season, playing both offense as a quarterback and defense as a defensive back, amounting to incredible numbers. The Timpson product pulled in 4,773 yards with 72 total touchdowns, along with 115 tackles on defense, with 5 interceptions, 4 of those being returned for a touchdown. Bussey also returned 4 touchdowns on special teams.

While it is unknown the exact reason the Bussey pushed off this commitment, many have thought that it was to see whether the Aggies will be off to a better start than last season. There has been little intel on where Bussey has been leaning recently—on that front, though, Texas A&M has had a 3-1 start, with the lone Miami loss looking better and better each week. The Aggies should still be expected to be the front runners, but his recruitment will likely go down until National Signing Day.
Texas A&M has a very good chance to earn another top recruit in the country on September 28th, but with a long recruitment that is unlikely to shut down, the Aggies will need to continue to win games to hold on to his recruitment.
