After a shocking but understandable decision to move on from Cleveland, where does Myles Garrett go from here?

With the news of Luka Doncic rocking the sports world this weekend, Texas A&M football legend Myles Garrett made headlines on the week of Super Bowl.

The NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 has requested to be traded from the Cleveland Browns. This is no shock as Cleveland has become a headline roller coaster this year for all the wrong reasons. The Deshaun Watson project in Cleveland is aging like milk, and it makes sense that the former Aggie would like a new home.

Here are my three potential destinations for Garrett in 2025.

3. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have also made headlines for Super Bowl week as it looks like Cooper Kupp will look somewhere else to play in 2025.

The Rams have some chips to play with, as it looks like whether they cut Kupp or trade him, they will look to save some money for new additions this offseason.

That might just open the door for Garrett to make his way to Hollywood.

The Rams saw great, immediate success with their Florida State rookies, Jared Verse and Brayden Fiske. If Garrett were to pair up with those two youngsters, it might make for a deadly three-headed monster.

2. Washington Commanders

Dan Quinn has established himself as a defensive coach defense while watching Jayden Daniels quickly become a face of the future for the NFL.

Quinn's longtime friend, Dante Fowler Jr. is a veteran who might be reaching father time in the next couple years. A smooth transition to work with Garrett might just be what Washington needs to get over the top.

Also, not to mention, they have Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne there as well, so Garrett in Washington could spell major trouble for the rest of the NFC.

1. Detroit Lions

Speaking of another former Aggie, Aaron Glenn has found a new home as the head coach of the New York Jets after a stint as defensive coordinator in Detroit.

Kelvin Sheppard, the new defensive coordinator in Motor City, could have a nice start to his Detroit stint with Aidan Hutchinson on the opposite side of Garrett.

Another question is warranted here. Why would anyone not want to play for Dan Campbell if they had the opportunity to?

The Lions have become a team where free agents want to go instead of leave like players have been doing for generations. Garrett's goal is to win a Super Bowl. The Lions would become even more of a threat if they can do that.
