Bucky McMillan and Texas A&M Basketball head to Fayetteville tomorrow as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Aggies come into the matchup with a 19-8 overall record, 9-5 in the SEC, and 42nd in the NET rankings. The Razorbacks are sitting with a 20-7 overall record, 10-4 in the SEC, and 20th in the NET rankings.

The Aggies are in need of a signature win, and this is the perfect opportunity to get one. Most bracketologists have the Aggies either as a 9 or a 10 seed. Bracket Matrix has them at the top of the 10-seed line at an average of 9.66.

Getting a quad 1A win on the road tomorrow could all but guarantee that the Aggies will end up being in the NCAA tournament. The Razorbacks are sitting very pretty right now. They are essentially guaranteed to make the tournament field at this point as their only losses are in quad 1 games and are projected to be around a 5 seed.

Texas A&M basketball faces another huge opportunity vs Arkansas

On paper this is going to be a very tough matchup for the Aggies, and sportsbooks have already taken notice as they currently have the Aggies as an 8.5-point underdog. The Razorbacks and Aggies are pretty much even when it comes to points per game and points given up per game. The Razorbacks have a slight advantage in overall shooting percentage and 3-point shooting percentage. They also have a large advantage when it comes to turnovers averaging less than 9 turnovers per game. The only advantage the Aggies seem to have on paper is rebounding.

Defensively, Arkansas is a problem. They are led by do-it-all point guard Darius Acuff Jr who doesn't just lead the team with 22.2 points per game, he leads the team with 6.2 assists per game as well. The Razorbacks also have a trio of 6'10" forwards that are led by Trevon Brazile who averages 12.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. The guards are going to have some very tough matchups in their own right, but Agee and Clemence are going to have to really step it up if the Aggies want to win.

Offensively, tomorrow would be a great time for Ruben Dominguez to get hot from 3. They've really missed his lights out shooting from earlier in the season. Everyone is going to have to contribute tomorrow as I suspect it will be a pretty high scoring game. Role players like Isaacs, Dibba, Lane, and Holloway could be the difference makers in this game.

Hopefully the Aggies will wind up victorious tomorrow night. Either way, I think we're in for a very entertaining matchup. Check back tomorrow night for our full reaction and analysis as the Aggies take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
