Texas A&M football uplifts Aggie fans amidst baseball and basketball blues, adding second huge commit of weekend
Texas A&M football is coming off of a big time recruiting weekend over the past couple of days. The Aggies welcomed in some high-level talent from across the nation into College Station, and they've already seen that weekend pay some dividends in the form of a commitment.
Adding RB Jonathan Hatton was a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait. Notching a pledge from one of the two elite running back prospects on your board for the cycle is a big box checked, but the Aggies weren't done adding offensive weapons.
No, the chatter coming out of the weekend was that the Ags had positioned themselves well with one more player over the past few days and that a commitment was imminent. There were a few players that it could prospectively be, but now the news has gone public.

The Aggies added a legacy commitment today that had A&M fans overjoyed, as WR Mike Brown announced his pledge to the Aggies.

It looks like the legacy aspect of things played in big with this one, according to Brown's interview with Sam Spiegleman.

Brown is the third wide receiver commitment of the class for the Aggies, joining Aaron Gregory and Madden Williams. He is the second in-state commitment, joining Jonathan Hatton from earlier this weekend.
The Aggies are building a strong receiving corps in this class, and they could be in on another few big time names in the near future. Though five-star Tristen Keys committed to LSU, the Ags still have some other big names, such as the recently-reclassified Ethan Feaster— who also was in College Station this weekend— on the line.
