The Texas A&M Aggies fanbase is buzzing about Bucky McMillan's new big man.
Following the signings of Mckenzie Mgbako, Duke Miles and Jamie Vinson IV, the addition of Federiko Federiko is showing the SEC that McMillan means business. Yes, he did have to rebuild his team from the ground up following the departure of Buzz Williams, but this is still a clear statement being made that Texas A&M is winning in the portal.
Federiko was on campus for an Aggie baseball game, thinking there was some hope for the Aggies to snatch him on campus while he was there. It turned out to be a golden move for Federiko to commit right away.
Media impressed, fans overjoyed after Texas A&M steals Federiko Federiko
There have been mixed reactions about the signing of Federiko— most are impressed, but Texas Tech fans are understandably steamed. Billy Lucci agrees that this is an explosive signing for the Aggies.

There's also fans on the Red Raider side who have already moved on from Federiko, but in typical Texas Tech fashion, fans are already quick to trash the Aggies.
Hell of a downgrade 😭

Texas A&M has some high potential with Federiko, and while they still have lots of work to do, it looks like their big man core is building back up again. Some fans have gone as far as to compare the lineups from last season to what could be of this season.
Sorry but…

7+ out of 10 times.
Federiko will probably step into that role filling in for Vinson IV, but this is a pretty athletic lineup that McMillan has built. Sometimes, all you need is that one gold piece like Mgbako for the rest of the dominoes to fall.
We're not the one to compare and contrast right now, but this is a fun lineup worth exploring while Bucky is still running hot in the portal.
