Wide receiver Terry Bussey has had his fair share of injuries, but this is now the second straight spring he's gone down.

Not the news that Aggies fans wanted to hear, as there is now history with Bussey going down in back-to-back offseasons. Coincidentally, Ashton Bethel-Roman went down in the same way recently, and now another Texas A&M WR has gone down. It's not the end of the world now, but not returning to the field could mean anything.

Terry Bussey suffers lower body injury in spring practice

As Karels said, Bussey did not return. We don't know if this is something that will have him out for a long period of time, or if the trainers just wanted to take the precautions necessary.

Bussey battled a hamstring injury in 2025, and it took him until mid-June to confirm he was healthy and ready to go for the season. Obviously, we don't know or expect that to be the same trajectory, but let's hope the incoming junior has the luck he needs getting back.

If not, the Aggies will have to look toward Mario Craver, Isaiah Horton and Jerome Myles for the time being. Bussey contributed as a receiver and a return specialist in 2025, but with Craver and KC Concepcion in the way, Bussey was only responsible for 18 catches, 195 yards and one touchdown in 2025.

Even true freshman receiver Aaron Gregory has been viewed as a sleeper impact, but either way, we should know more about Bussey's injury shortly. If he's not, expect Gregory to take a step up in practice.
