There was an incredibly scary moment in the middle of the Texas A&M football game vs. Notre Dame on Saturday in South Bend. In the second quarter, Aggies safety Bryce Anderson went in for a hit, but he stayed down on the turf and he was not able to get up.
Immediately, it looked like the Texas A&M standout had suffered a serious injury. The cart was brought out and Anderson was stretchered off. Thankfully, however, nothing but good news has come in since this happened, including Anderson giving his teammates a thumbs up that surely was a relief for everyone:

Texas A&M safety Bryce Anderson has feeling in all of his limbs after being stretchered off
Seeing Anderson provide that thumbs up let everyone know that the injury wasn't as terrible as it originally looked. Shortly after kickoff for the second half, sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen confirmed that Anderson was taken to the hospital, but more importantly that head coach Mike Elko told her that the senior has feeling in all of his limbs.
Every precaution was taken with Anderson after this scary incident. His teammates were quite concerned and understandably so. However, again, it had to be a major relief for them that Anderson indeed hit them with the thumbs up.
During the halftime break, it's safe to assume that Elko also told his players that Anderson had feeling in all of his limbs, which was obviously the best update that could have come in. Whenever a play like this happens, it's easy for people to fear the worst - it's only human to have that concern.
Luckily, that worst-case scenario appears to have been avoided for the upperclassman. It's unknown how long he'll be out of action for, but right now, that's likely the last thing Elko and his staff are thinking about. They're just glad Anderson is going to be just fine.
