It didn't take until 'Miami week' for any of the Aggies to start stirring the pot with the Miami players.

It all started last week when Trey Zuhn III told the media that Rueben Bain Jr. wasn't going to be a threat in a first round playoff game. This is bold, coming from anyone, as Bain Jr. has been talked about as a top five draft pick all season long.

We're not necessarily blaming Zuhn III for not doing his homework in the college football world. Or, was this something that he wanted to start on purpose? Either way, Collin Klein made sure to give the Miami defense their own flowers.

Collin Klein's praise toward Miami's front seven negates Trey Zuhn's trash talk

"(Miami's) front seven is really, really good. They keep you on edge schematically... It's a really, really good unit."

It seems like Zuhn III was the only one on any team to stir the pot against Miami, but of course, Miami fans were quick to jump on Zuhn's comments, and they never let him hear the end of it. Bain Jr. has been one of the best players in college football all season long, and it's about the first time we've heard an opposing player give Bain Jr. a challenge.

It wouldn't feel like a playoff if the mood were anything clean. After all, this is the first playoff appearance for each respective team, and both teams are just trying to sink it in. Klein knows that his offense will have a lot on its plate, and is only gifting the Miami defense with the proper respect.

Many media outlets are half-and-half between picking the Aggies and Canes to win this game. A&M fans are going to rely on the 12th Man for the last time this season, as Miami hasn't even played in a venue with 70,000 fans all season long. The Miami defense may not be able to comprehend the atmosphere, but we're still expecting a competitive game nonetheless.
