It's often to see players smack-talk one another before a game, but it takes a real leader to back up that talk.

That's what Texas A&M star offensive lineman Trey Zuhn III just did when referring to Miami star defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. Miami fans are completely losing it on social media, and it's been a field day in the comment section of the video.

Zuhn's comments completely contradict what Mike Elko said when complimenting Miami's run defense as a "challenge." Zuhn III didn't seem to care, and it's got the Canes fans going nuts.

Trey Zuhn III says Rueben Bain Jr. won't be a threat against Texas A&M

"I don't think he will be a threat that we need to worry about too much. We have great players. We have a great offensive line, so we'll be able to handle him. "

Boom. The gloves are off now. Bain Jr. is widely projected on many boards as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. When you come for Bain Jr., you'd better be ready. That's the same sentiment that Miami fans are using.

It's one thing for Zuhn III to say he hasn't watched film of Bain Jr. yet. It's another to say that the best pass rusher the Aggies will go against won't be much of a threat. This is bold, and Miami fans are already coming for Zuhn III.

Most of the reaction from Canes fans is memes, and some have explicit language, so we'll leave that part up for your viewing.

Someone went as far as to tag Miami head coach Mario Cristobal and Hall of Fame defensive end and current defensive ends coach, Jason Taylor.

Some in the media had to make sure it wasn't AI playing tricks on us.

David Pollack even told the star left tackle to shut his mouth!

Fans are reminding Zuhn III that Bain Jr. won't be the only assignment the Texas A&M OL will have to worry about.

Zuhn's comment can be classified as bold but confident. After all, history has shown that if anything, Miami football and its fans embrace trash talk, as seen in the 30 for 30 episode called "The U."
