This recruiting cycle for the Aggies has been an exciting ride for A&M fans so far, and this latest development is only heightening that sense.

The 2026 recruiting cycle for Texas A&M has been a highlight so far. The Aggies have brought in talent from across the nation, notching commitment after commitment from some of the best players in America.

There are still several key recruitments pending, however. The recent announcement of commitment dates for guys like five-stars Lamar Brown and Brandon Arrington have the Aggies looking at what could potentially be a huge summer if things break right.

To add to that anticipation, it looks like yet one more top target for the Aggies is going to be announcing at the same time. With Arrington set to announce on July 5th and Brown looking to make his decision on July 10th, Independence Day could also bring some great news for the Aggies, as a longtime receiver target will be making his announcement on that day.

Elite 2026 WR Boobie Feaster includes A&M in top group, set to announce commitment July 4

Texas A&M has been in the mix for quite some time with 2026 receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster out of DeSoto, Texas. A recent addition to the 2026 class after reclassifying up from 2027, Feaster is still one of the most sought-after names in the entire nation at receiver, and the Aggies look like they have some stiff competition indeed.

Feaster is set to announce between Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and USC. That's an elite group of schools, and with three being SEC rivals, this is quite the consequential recruitment for the Aggies.

Whenever A&M can land a guy in a race like this, it not only adds an elite player to their locker room, but it also forces their rivals to look elsewhere. With the Aggies being the only in-state finalist on this list for Feaster, you have to think A&M has a bit of a natural advantage here.

Of course, the Aggies haven't been exactly a lock-down in-state recruiting team this cycle. While they're in it for the top prospects, most of their commitments have come from out of state so far.

This would be a huge splash, however. Hopefully, this one ends up going A&M's way in the end.
