Texas A&M football is getting ready to square off with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the premier matchup of the day, but there's some key players that Aggie fans want to make sure will be available.

Two key cogs in the Aggie offensive machine, Marcel Reed and Trey Zuhn, were both forced to leave the game against Utah State last week due to injuries that they suffered. Since then, the news has all been good for the Aggies, but sometimes injury news doesn't come down the pike until much later than you might expect.

While those two are trending positively— Billy Liucci of Texags has remarked that Marcel did, in fact, practice all week, so it seems he is not hampered by whatever occurred this past weekend— there are still some questions about other key members of this Aggie team. Here's the latest on the injury front for the Aggies.

Marcel Reed is on track to play in this game, which is the biggest sigh of relief for Texas A&M fans. Reed needs to have a huge performance in this one, as both his arm and his legs will be key to the Aggies coming away with a victory here.

Trey Zuhn is the other big question, and it looks like he will also be ready for this game, barring a last-second setback. A captain of this team, Zuhn's presence will also be massive for the Ags tonight.

Then come the other players about whom there are a few questions. First, Rueben Fatheree, who has been out since the middle of fall camp, is still yet a question mark. There's no doubt that the target for the Aggie swing tackle was to be back by this game, but there has been no confirmation up until this point that he will be able to go. This is one to monitor closely.

News is more positive for transfer nickel Jordan Shaw, who posted on his Instagram this past week counting down to this game as his debut in the maroon and white. That's no official confirmation, but it seems as though he's trending positively because of that.
