Rivalry week is upon us, and Texas A&M is looking to continue its unblemished season as it heads down to Louisiana, ready to end a two-decade-long trend of losing results at Tiger Stadium. This could be another statement victory for the Aggies as they march through their SEC schedule, but there's also a desperate and talented LSU team standing in their way and eager to send them home with a loss. With endless outcomes in sight, let's get bold and try to predict some of the more obscure things we could find on Saturday.

Marcel Reed has his best day on the ground this season

Saturday's game provides another opportunity for the Aggie quarterback to cause headaches for everyone on the LSU coaching staff. Reed was inserted into the starting lineup halfway through last year's victory over the Tigers, replacing Conner Weigman with the offense in a lull, and ran the football nine times for 62 yards and three touchdowns.

This time around, Reed will have 60 minutes to display his talents, and he'll do so against yet another defense that struggles to contain mobile quarterbacks. Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns last weekend, and Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss ran for 71 yards on 14 attempts just a few weeks prior.

It's also worth pointing out that neither of those teams has as lethal of a wide receiver room as the Aggies do, meaning this defense will have more to worry about than just Reed's legs. So let's call for more of the same in this 2025 bout: Marcel Reed hits a season high in rushing yards, that being 66, and I'll also call for his first two-rushing-touchdown game of the season.
