Myles Garrett has a legitimate chance to break the NFL's sack record in 2025. With not much looking up for the Cleveland Browns, this is about the only event that has Cleveland fans ready to bounce out of their seats.
Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt holds the record in a tie with 22.5 sacks. Garrett has 19 sacks entering Week 14, and only needs four more to get there.
On the other hand, De'Von Achane is making noise with the Miami Dolphins, and even though they're probably not going anywhere either, just like Garrett, Achane has some hardware to celebrate for November as well.
Myles Garrett and De'Von Achane win AFC players of the month for November
As we highlighted a few weeks back, Garrett and Achane have been running the league for some time now. In November, Garrett helped lead the Browns to giving up just 260 yards per game, the second-fewest in the NFL.
Garrett also broke a record for the most sacks in a five-game span with 14, passing Michael Strahan when he racked up 12.5. This could finally be Garrett's season to cement his name in NFL history for a long time.
As one of the fastest players in the NFL, Achane has quickly developed a rep for being one of the best playmakers in the league. Achane carried the ball 79 times for 495 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 17 of 22 passes for an additional 135 yards.
We'll see what happens near the end of the season, but if all falls the way it should, Garrett should be the all-time single-season sack leader next month.
It's not everyday you see two Aggies win this award at the same time. Good for the both of them.
