Texas A&M football is rolling at the half against an overmatched Utah State team.
The home town Aggies are up 30-6 on the visiting Aggies after a end-of-half two-minute drive yielded some good results for Texas A&M, scoring a touchdown with sixteen second to go. This was the fourth touchdown of the half for A&M on a day where the offense has a little bit stop-and-go.

Head coach Mike Elko seemed pleased with the way the game was going for the Aggies, but was typically understated in the quotes he gave to SEC Network's Alyssa Lang as he headed to halftime.
Mike Elko pleased with Texas A&M's first half, chimes in on Cashius Howell's insane stretch
The first thing that Lang asked Elko about, of course, was the back-to-back-to-back sacks that edge rusher Cashius Howell registered against Utah State in the middle of the second half.
"Obviously, he had a big half," said Elko with a slight grin on his face. He mentioned that this coaching staff has "got a lot of confidence in him," and slyly saying that "we can win that way."
I think it would be a rare team that loses if they register a sack every time an opposing team drops back to pass. Obviously, Texas A&M hasn't done that on every single snap, but this defense is playing with their hair on fire outside of one drive.
On the plan for the second half, Mike Elko was vague, but he expressed confidence in this Aggie team.
"We want to mix it up, take what they're trying to give us," Elko mentioned. Talking about his quarterback, he said that Marcel got "in a good rhythm" and mentioned the run game coming along as well.
Mike Elko, along with every Aggie fan, will be watching closely in the second half to see the kind of fire and intensity that this A&M team comes out with against Utah State. Hopefully, they keep this energy coming all day.
