KC Concepcion gets blatantly snubbed after an electrifying Week 1 performance

This isn't as bad of a snub than others, but come on.

Texas A&M fans expected more from the offense this season thanks to Mario Craver and KC Concepcion.

Both of them showed up, combining for four touchdowns, and their respective impacts already look much more appealing than the WR group last year. Pete Nakos covering college football for On3 had a list of impact transfer players for Week 1. He made sure to mention Craver as an honorable mention, but left out Concepcion.

There are more ways than one that Concepcion deserved to get some love on this list, but in typical fashion, the Aggies always seemed to get snubbed.

Concepcion did more than necessary to be an impact player

If you ask me, touchdowns on punt returns are tougher to accomplish than receiving touchdowns. Of course, we're not taking anything Craver did. In fact, we're glad he made it to the honorable mention, but an 80-yard touchdown run on a punt return? Come on, now.

It'd be an extreme stretch to mention EJ Smith here, but he also had about the best effort play that we've seen from an Aggie in quite a while.

Nakos put two centers from LSU and Florida State, respectively. He also added a defensive lineman from Mississippi State to the list, who ended up beating Southern Miss. This is questionable in itself, but there are way too many skill players to put on the list before anyone else.

Concepcion doesn't care, though. He's an underrated player that wasn't used properly at NC State. He's off to dominate the field a ton more this season, and there will be tons of recognition coming his way. Hopefully, he does it where the moments matter most against Notre Dame and the big dogs of the SEC.
