Texas A&M has been on an insanely hot streak on the recruiting trail over the last couple of days, landing a pair of five-star defensive backs in the class of 2027 over the weekend in Raylaun Henry and Jayquan Snell. Though those guys are in the current junior class, it looks like the hot streak for A&M is about to land them a big time player in the 2026 class as well.

This Aggie recruiting staff has remained hard at work on landing some top-level talents even after they committed elsewhere over the summer, and that work may be about to pay off. Five-star Auburn commit Bralan Womack was in the house for the Aggies' win over South Carolina, and it looks like Texas A&M gave him a lot to think about.

With only days to go until National Signing Day arrives, the Aggies have received a prediction to flip one of the nation's best safeties from Auburn— and it would be a massive coup if it comes to pass.

Texas A&M received earth-shattering prediction to flip five-star Bralan Womack from Auburn

Steve Wiltfong of Rivals put in a prediction for the Aggies to flip Womack after his most recent visit to College Station:

Womack, out of Flowood, MS, picked the Tigers over Texas A&M and Ohio State earlier in the year, but as things have degraded down on the Plains, the Aggies have slowly gained ground. Ishmael Aristide and Mike Elko have long had Womack as a priority, and it's not hard to see why.

Womack is rated as the no. 19 player in the nation per the 247Sports Composite ratings, as well as coming in as the nation's top-rated safety overall. The Aggies have had some decent play there this year, but a guy like Womack could defijnitely challenge for playing time day one.

If the Aggies do indeed pull off this flip, it will be quite the close to the 2026 class. It would give the Aggies two five-star defensive backs in the class with him and Brandon Arrington, portending the arrival of one of the nation's best secondaries in College Station. Here's hoping Elko and this staff can close this recruitment out strong.
