Nick Saban recently lit a fire under Texas A&M's fanbase with some comments he made about Kyle Field. Though he was complimentary about the Aggies' home field advantage overall, even calling it the most difficult place to play in the SEC during his comments this morning, he claimed that the Aggies pipe in crowd noise.
Saban stuck to his guns, though, and didn't back down from his stance. Of course, maybe it's just sour grapes from games like those in 2017 and 2021, where the crowd's deafening quality in night games against Alabama made things tough for Saban and company— but in any case, Mike Elko made sure to clap back against Saban's claim while on College Gameday this morning.
Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko claps back at Nick Saban's piped-in crowd noise comments
Here's what the head man for the Aggies had to say when he chimed in on Saban's allegations this morning.

This is Mike Elko's style to a T— he lets you know he's heard the noise, and he dismisses it out of hand with complete confidence.
This will be on full display today in what could possibly be the most packed house we've ever seen in Kyle Field. The Home of the 12th Man is packed to the gills for this first-round playoff game, and it's looking like "deafening" may sell short the crowd's noise level.
Anyone who has been to a big game in Kyle knows that this is a place that needs no noise piped in in the slightest. That will be shown immediately on the Aggies' first defensive possession, without a doubt.
Elko had to set the record straight, and he did it in the perfect way. Now, let's see the Aggies put on a masterclass on the field to match it.
