This isn't what fans wanted to hear.

It's officially hate Texas week for Texas A&M fans, as the Aggies have a chance to rewrite the script of their second-half collapse last season to finish 12-0 in the regular season.

One question is which players will be healthy enough in this high-stakes Black Friday game. Texas A&M star running back Le'Veon Moss has been out since suffering a scary injury against Florida. He didn't suffer a season-ending injury, but it's been significant enough to sit out for nearly two months.

Mike Elko gave a notable update on Moss that A&M fans won't like.

Mike Elko says RB Le'Veon Moss will probably not be ready to go vs. Texas

In the weekly press conference, Elko said what no A&M fans want to hear.

""We'll see. Probably not, but we'll see.""

At least we got the answer before having to wait for the mid-week injury report. It's not the answer that Aggie fans wanted to hear, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Having Moss be 100 percent for an SEC Championship game and a playoff game is way more important than having him in the Texas game.

Elko also called Rueben Owens II and Mario Craver "awesome." Owens II hasn't missed a beat since taking over for Moss as the de facto lead back.

Owens II has 99 carries, 570 yards and five touchdowns. Jamarion Morrow has also been involved this season, with veteran Amari Daniels being the feature back in the Samford game. The Aggies are more than covered at the RB position, but it would've been nice to see the star back make a return for the Texas game.

The key isn't as much to show off on offense. It's for the A&M pass rush to wear down Arch Manning, and if they do that, the offensive game plan should follow through with ease.
