The most shocking pick of Day 2 of the NFL Draft was Texas A&M tight end Nate Boerkircher. Of course, we're not underestimating his talent. No one is, but fans are quite shocked that someone of Boerkircher's value went as high as he did.

Boerkircher was picked at No. 56 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. At the beginning of the offseason, he looked like a clear UDFA pick, but then, he started to rise to the level of a fourth-round pick. He has gained traction since his performance at the Senior Bowl, but no one ever thought he would go this early.

When the smoke cleared, it all made sense. Boerkircher is one of the best blocking tight ends in the draft, and an unselfish player who does the dirty work is extremely valuable. Fans still can't believe it, and the reactions are priceless.

Reaction to Nate Boerkircher getting drafted is everything A&M fans will love

Texas A&M fans, you'll get a kick out of this. The former Aggie tight end was drafted before Texas LB Anthony Hill Jr., who had plenty of eyes on him. This meme explains perfectly how most fans feel after watching the pick.

Chad Jensen of the Broncos Sports Illustrated page had dreams of picking Boerkircher, but the Jaguars got him, and it was upsetting.

His former teammate, Demetrious Crownover, hosted a watch party and shared a reaction on social media. "They took Nate!" followed by applause was all we needed to see.

Just in case Jaguars fans needed a reminder, this was Boerkircher in his Nebraska days, bulldozing through Travis Hunter on a block, taking him nearly 20 yards down the field.

Jaguars fans, you will see plenty of mixed reactions, but don't sell yourselves short. You got a good one in Boerkircher.
