Texas A&M fans opened their social media this morning to see brand new mock drafts dropped from several different outlets, but the most eye-catching one was that of The Athletic's Dane Brugler. Brugler is famous for "The Beast," his extremely thorough and in-depth big board that he creates every single season before the NFL draft, and so it should be no surprise that he created a mock that runs all the way from round one to round seven.
What is surprising, however— in a very pleasant way, it should be said— is where Brugler sees Texas A&M players going in this draft. Not only is he on board with Mike Elko's hopes that a double-digit number of Aggies will go in this draft, but the places he has them landing will certainly raise some eyebrows around Aggieland.

Here is where he has each Texas A&M player landing in the upcoming NFL draft:
- KC Concepcion - Cleveland Browns, pick 20
- Chase Bisontis - Houston Texans, pick 28
- Cashius Howell - Houston Texans, pick 38
- Tyler Onyedim - Houston Texans, pick 69
- Trey Zuhn - Baltimore Ravens, pick 80
- Will Lee - San Francisco 49ers, pick 127
- Nate Boerkircher - New England Patriots, pick 131
- Albert Regis - Washington Commanders, pick 147
- Dametrious Crownover - Green Bay Packers, pick 160
- Ar'maj Reed-Adams - Cincinnati Bengals, pick 226
- Taurean York - Baltimore Ravens, pick 253
- Le'Veon Moss - Indianapolis Colts, pick 254
This would be a total of 12 Texas A&M players drafted, all but one of the Aggies that were invited to the NFL Combine (Scooby Williams was not in this projection). That would be record-breaking for Texas A&M as a school, but there's one other notable factor.
The big thing that A&M fans will no doubt immediately notice is that Brugler has three Texas A&M players in the first three rounds going to the Houston Texans: Chase Bisontis, Cashius Howell, and Tyler Onyedim. That would no doubt be a result that many Aggie fans would love: there is a huge base of A&M fans in the Houston area, obviously, and there's nothing better than seeing players go from your favorite college team to your favorite pro team.
Things could shake out differently, but the familiarity that the Texans have with the Aggie program has to play into Brugler's projections here. Texas A&M's talent that is coming into the draft matches up well with Houston's needs, so this could indeed be a pretty accurate projection before all is said and done.
