Texas A&M had enough to get through the finish line against Bowling Green.
Just like we said earlier in the week, this was not a surprise.
We knew that Connor Bazelak was going to be on his game. He's been in SEC stadiums before, and just finished up a close one against Penn State in the beginning of the season.
Here are four studs and two duds in the win against Bowling Green.
Stud: Randy Bond
Kickers need love too.
Bond deserves it. Mike Elko credited Bond after the game, telling everybody how important he was.
"I thought he was critical," Elko said.
Bond was four for four on field goal tries and made a 42-yard kick as his longest. That kick also put the nail in the coffin to eventually win.
Bond is a reliable kicker that has come through in huge ways for the Aggies.
He was needed for an offense that was inefficient in the red zone.
He'll continue to be consistent, and when he gets a game-winner, you better believe he'll be a stud after that game as well.
Duds: Will Lee III and Scooby Williams
It might be more unfair than not, but a big hole in the defense can't be ignored.
There's little to no doubt that Harold Fannin Jr. will be an NFL tight end one day. He's got the tools and it's fun to watch.
A big gain is one thing, but Fannin Jr. has to be at least brought down in the field of play.
Will Lee III and Scooby Williams were both on that blown coverage that Elko talked about, and the last man on the island was Ratcliffe, putting him in a tough spot.
It was a team mistake to let a hole that big be wide open, but not a great play to open out the second half.
The defense should be credited for stopping the run, and hopefully they can continue to do so.
Elko will be the first one to say that a blown coverage like that won't cut it for any team.
Studs: Trey Zuhn III and Ar'Maj Reed-Adams
The offensive line deserves some love after an ugly victory.
They did what they needed to do in terms of opening up holes for Le'Veon Moss.
Marcel Reed was actually the team's leading rusher with 91 yards, beating out Moss by just one yard.
Either way, Zuhn III and Reed-Adams should be credited, and the stats proved their hard work.
Having not allowing even a pressure on 70 combined pass blocking snaps as impressive as a duo.
The Aggies need more of their blocking to protect the run game.
Stud: Theo Melin Ohrstrom
This kid might be something to watch.
Reed threw a ball with incredible placement into the hands of Theo Melin Ohrstrom for his second touchdown of the season.
This was Ohrstrom's only catch of the night, but it came at a good price.
This might turn into a red zone target if he gets more reps on the field, but it also should be noted that Ohrstrom's touchdowns have come from 29 and 27 yards.
He can be an outside target out of the flat or on the deep slant.
Reed might see something in him. He should definitely be more involved in the offense as the season goes on.
