Texas A&M basketball fans react to Aggie hoops dominating in the first round against Nebraska

Texas A&M basketball is moving on to the second round, and in emphatic fashion. The Aggies jumped out to a 14-point lead by halftime, and it was only putting the backups in with two minutes left that prevented the Aggies from putting up 100 points.

Fans could tell even from the opening minutes that this could be a special offensive night for the Aggies. One of the biggest bright spots in a shining first half was a personal 16-point run by Manny Obaseki.

Obaseki was dazzling in the game, showing his improved offensive skill set throughout. If he continues to play like this, the Aggies will be one of the toughest outs in the whole tournament.

But don't forget about Wade Taylor, either. The leader of this team poured in some tough buckets of his own, helping the Aggie keep pace with the barrage of three-pointers the Huskers came out of the gates with.

Late in the first half, a pair of Aggie celebrities flashed up on screen. Most people knew the one, but a select few were aware of the pair.

Both Taylor and Obaseki's huge offensive nights led to this record that the Aggies absolutely smashed in the game.

Another Solomon Washington highlight in the second half led to a huge reaction from fans.

National media didn't overlook this performance by the Aggies, either.

As the game wore on, and the Aggies' victory became more and more sure, the trash talking from Aggie fans began, including jabs about Nebraska's athletic director coming to A&M... and it was hilarious.

The huge offensive night for the Texas A&M basketball backcourt is well-summed up in this eye-popping statistic.

What a huge win for the Aggies. Here's hoping they carry this momentum into the second round.
