Five-star Texas A&M football target Dijon Lee locks in announcement date; Highly-touted CB set to commit June 28

Texas A&M football has already built quite the class at defensive back for the 2025 cycle. With the commitment of top-50 CB Adonyss Currie last week, the Aggies added a fourth to a class that boasted skill, length, and a whole lot of speed.

They have a chance to push that number to five and move from great to outstanding in all of those categories. Five star Aggie target Dijon Lee has locked in an announcement date for his commitment, setting June 28 as his decision date.

Lee recently narrowed his list down to four schools, but this latest graphic included Texas. It's unclear if the Longhorns are in the running, as his OV schedule has him making a quick stop in Austin while he is set for entire weekends at his other visits.

The five-star out of California is eyeing the Southeastern Conference for most of his choices, with Washington being the lone rep from another conference (now, the Big 10!). Lee is a towering presence in the defensive backfield, standing at 6'4" and 190. That size would provide him with a lot of positional versatility on the back end—and we all know how Mike Elko can take advantage of qualities like that to turn players into defensive game wreckers.

The Aggies have the second to last visit here, with Alabama concluding Lee's trip through the Southeast. Texas A&M football has a heavyweight fight on their hands if they hope to pull this one out at the end of the day, but they have the horses to do just that. Even if this one ends up going elsewhere at the end of the day, I feel confident in this Aggie staff to win their fair share of these recruitments.
