SEC 2024 Schedules: 12th Toughest - Ole Miss

The Rebels also have to be practically licking their chops at the sight of their schedule. Their non-conference is a joke (Furman, Middle Tennessee, @ Wake Forest, and Georgia Southern), and they avoid Alabama. They do play Georgia, but they get the Bulldogs at home.

The toughest stretch here for the Rebels will be a back to back road slate against South Carolina and LSU; it's very uncommon, as I've said, for a SEC team to win back to back road conference games. It's preceded by what will doubtless be a physical game against Kentucky, but the Rebs get a bye on the back end of the stretch.

After that, they face down a home date versus OU and a road trip to Arkansas before the Bulldogs roll into town. They get another bye before a road trip to Florida on the penultimate week of the season, and close with the Egg Bowl at home.

There are fewer top tier opponents on this schedule than some of those that preceded, but the back to back conference game looks like a scheduled loss on the back end. OU won't be a cakewalk, and I really don't think the Rebs have a shot at beating UGA. This is another 9 win schedule.
