Studs and Duds from Texas A&M football's enraging season-opening loss
Dud: Noah Thomas
Thomas is expected to have his best year yet. However, he was a non-factor in the game.
Thomas finished with one catch for 10 yards, and fans didn't really hear his name that much during the game.
Thomas has a 6-foot-6 frame with a body to be used in one-on-one scenarios. To give him the benefit of the doubt, Weigman didn't play his best. So, chances are, the receivers weren't going to be on their game either.
Thomas was less than satisfactory, but A&M loved keeping the ball on the ground.
Weigman wasn't even looking in Thomas's direction for much of the night, as they used Moss to get the run game going. This is referring to when head coach Mike Elko was pleading with his staff to run the ball.
Thomas will be heavily used this year to potentially form a deadly combination with Weigman. It just didn't go his way for week one.
