Tracking Texas A&M football portal departures: Colton Thomasson - Baylor

Thomasson will be missed for his big frame, but didn't actually make a difference for Texas A&M.

Thomasson is a big fella at 6-foot-8 and 320 pounds. He's a body that could've helped out the Aggies if one of the linemen were to go down. Mark Nabou went down to start the year, but he played at center, that wouldn't have been Thomasson's cue to enter the game.

There seems to be no difference with the absence of Thomasson because at Baylor, he's a second string guy anyway. He'll be depended upon if Baylor's right tackle were to get injured, and he would be the one to step up.

Even though the Aggies suffered a huge blow to start the year, Kolinu'u Faaiu should be more than capable of stepping up to the plate.

The Aggies are in good hands without Thomasson and will continue to be filled at the offensive line position.
