This matchup between Texas A&M football and the Miami Hurricanes is one between two of the best line-of-scrimmage teams in the entire country. Both the Aggies and Canes are elite at getting to the passer and protecting their own quarterback, so whoever is more effective at both this Saturday will likely come away with a win.
The biggest individual matchup when the Aggies have the ball will be between Aggie offensive tackle Trey Zuhn and Miami defensive end Rueben Bain. The Hurricane defensive lineman took the nation by storm when he dominated the opening-weekend matchup against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, while the Aggie offensive tackle has quietly put together one of the best pass blocking grades in the country— even after facing talents like Dylan Stewart and Colin Simmons.
A bit of a dust storm was kicked up earlier last week when Zuhn spoke confidently about the matchup with Bain, saying he was not all that worried about it. Miami fans have run with this in a big way, and now, Bain himself has fired back.
Rueben Bain responds to Trey Zuhn's confident approach to key matchup: 'God bless those guys'
Miami's fanbase has been going hog wild with this latest quote from Bain, when asked about Zuhn's comments:
Rueben Bain, asked about Texas A&M players' comments about him, smiled and said, "God bless those guys. They're just playing football the way they play it."

Though the tweet says "Texas A&M players' comments," Zuhn is the only player to comment on Bain directly in a way that would elicit a response like this, so it's pretty clear who is meant here.
Bain is indeed a wrecking ball on the defensive line, but the Aggies have been through the fire in a huge way with the different defensive lines they've faced in the SEC. He's a unique talent, but it's not as though he's in a completely different stratosphere than some of the other players the Ags have faced this year.
Especially when you consider the kinds of players that Zuhn has lined up against during his career— Will Anderson, Dallas Turner, Chris Braswell, James Pearce, Landon Jackson, Princely Umanmielen, Jordan Burch, Damon Wilson, the aforementioned Colin Simmons and Dylan Stewart, not to mention Nic Scourton, Shemar Stewart, and Cashius Howell in practice— there's really no reason for him to run from that matchup. Bain is good, but Zuhn has seen better.
