Texas A&M's second-half curb-stomping of LSU wasn't the only dramatic win of the weekend; it was one of a handful of thrilling results. Mississippi State, Auburn, South Carolina and Oklahoma led by a combined 34 points in the fourth quarter, yet all four left the weekend with a loss. Let's catch you up on everything you may have missed in the Southeastern Conference.

Texas rides 24-point fourth quarter to overtime win in Starkville

The most exhilarating game of the weekend took place in Mississippi, where the Texas Longhorns found 17 points in the final nine and a half minutes of play to erase a massive deficit against Mississippi State and send the game into overtime. Despite losing Arch Manning to a concussion in that extra period, backup quarterback Matthew Caldwell found Emmett Mosley for his second touchdown of the day โ€” sealing the victory for the Longhorns.

This was a remarkable effort from Texas' group and an even more remarkable collapse from Mississippi State, who only gained 19 yards on its final three drives of regulation despite having 482 yards of offense up to that point. Despite many struggles this season and even more at the start of this game, Arch Manning stepped up in a big way down the stretch and finished with 346 passing yards and three touchdowns.

The Bulldogs now fall to 4-4 on the season and 0-4 in conference play, while Texas moves to 6-2 (3-1 SEC) and still well within range of its postseason hopes despite shaky result after shaky result.
