It's pretty wild how things can change in only a little while. Just ask South Carolina coach Shane Beamer about that. After the first quarter, the Gamecocks were dominating Texas A&M football and it looked like a home disaster was on the way for the Aggies.
Texas A&M buries 10-win drought in craziest way possible
At the time, South Carolina was up 17-3 at the end of the first and Beamer raised countless eyebrows when he threw some shade at A&M. Fans were hoping Beamer could come back to regret his eye-opening words and sure enough, that's exactly what has happened, as the Aggies posted a wild 31-30 win.
Behind a spirited comeback led by quarterback Marcel Reed, which included Texas A&M overcoming a 30-3 halftime deficit, the Aggies were able to silence Beamer and all the haters out there who wrote them off early on. This is a comeback for the ages and now Beamer is no question looking foolish.

"Just guys making plays. ... We're not surprised. We beat this team by 24 points last year. ... Our guys didn't come in here just to compete.
Shane Beamer gave Texas A&M extra motivation to post its amazing comeback
Beamer said that with a ton of confidence and we don't blame him for that. He was probably riding high. With the score 30-3 at halftime too, he probably thought his team was going to leave College Station with arguably the biggest upset of the year.
Instead, the halftime speech head man Mike Elko gave his team must have been off the charts, as we saw a completely different team for the final 30 minutes of play. The offense could not be stopped and on defense, the USC offensive line had no answers for the A&M pass-rush.
Multiple times, Beamer was spotted on the sidelines shaking his head in disgust with some of the sacks that LaNorris Sellers was taking. His run on 4th-and-16 to end any South Carolina hopes spoke volumes to the kind of second half it was for the Gamecocks.
A total disaster was averted for the No. 3 Aggies. Plenty of people probably had social media posts ready to be fired off, but they can go ahead and delete those drafts. Oh, and as for Beamer? Maybe wait until after the final whistle to talk smack. He's now eating his words in the worst way possible, as A&M posted the greatest comeback win in program history. Goodness.
