Gavin Grahovac is one of the Aggies' best weapons in the lineup at the plate, but he hasn't quite been himself thus far this year— that is, until this past weekend. After suffering an injury in the first game of the slate of three, Gavin absolutely lit up the Missouri Tigers for the rest of the weekend, enlivening the Aggies' hopes for the rest of the season in the process.
It started in the third inning of game two, as Grahovac smashed just his third homer of the season to notch three RBIs, putting the Aggies up 9-1 over the Tigers. Only two innings later, he did it again when he put a ball out of reach to left field, scoring two.
Gavin Grahovac puts SEC on high alert with performance against Missouri for Texas A&M baseball
He made even quicker work of the Tigers in Sunday's game, as the Aggies got out of there in only seven innings. This was their second run-rule of a conference team in two weeks— yet, somehow, they came out of last weekend's series against the Georgia Bulldogs as the losers.
Grahovac knocked another two homers out of the park in today's game— one a three-run homer and one a grand slam. This is the kind of performance that can break a guy out of a slump, and the Aggies certainly need that out of their top bat.

Caden Sorrell, Nico Partida, and others offer plenty of power themselves, but when Grahovac is on, there are few in the country like him, let alone this lineup. Texas A&M needs him at his best for this upcoming run against top SEC squads, and it looks like he is finally rounding into form after missing last season with injury.
If Grahovac is indeed back in full measure, it spells trouble for the rest of the SEC. The Aggies have a top-shelf weapon when he's executing at his best, and that's exactly what they need as they face off with teams like LSU, Texas, and Mississippi State coming up.
