Texas A&M football has just picked up a commitment from Iowa Colony wide receiver Jayden Warren, flipping him from the in-state Houston Cougars, to whom he had been committed for some time. The Aggies hosted Warren last week for the South Carolina game, and had been focusing their efforts in on him for a while to round out their receiver class for 2026.

Warren is a speedster through and through, with 10.2 speed in the 100-meter dash. He profiles similarly to Ashton Bethel-Roman in that way, though he's a little taller at just a shade under 6'2"— certainly a different profile than the other receivers currently committed to the Aggies.

He rounds out the three-man class nicely for the Aggies, complementing Aaron Gregory, Mike Brown, and Madden Williams well. Each of those three brings something different to the table for the class, and each will be a potent weapon for Holmon Wiggins.

Warren is a four-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He's hung around the top 150 or so for the duration of his recruitment, as he possesses speed that's impossible to teach, so he's a guy that could definitely threaten for some early playing time, even if he's a bit more raw of a route-runner.

This coaching staff continues to show that they prize team speed above all else. Keeping the deep shot as a consistent threat against opposing defenses is absolutely key to keep this offensive system as open as possible, and Warren is a player that will help with that in a massive way.

Warren's addition bolsters a top-10 recruiting class for the Aggies— one that can finish out extremely strongly with a couple more additions. Five-star safety and Auburn commit Bralan Womack is one to watch down the stretch on that front— if the Aggies bring him in, this will be a truly championship-level haul.
