Texas A&M baseball capitalizes on Master's coverage with unique celebration
Texas A&M baseball won a game in dramatic fashion last night, with Caden Sorrell lifting A&M to a win over South Carolina off the back of his extra-innings solo homer. That result was huge for the Aggies, extending their win streak and giving them prime position in a series that is a must-win for this team.
For as exciting as the ending was, it was the celebration afterwards that may have gotten even more eyes. With the Master's going on right now in Augusta, Georgia, the Aggies decided to break out a unique celebration for Sorrell's heroics.

That's right: Sorrell got the green jacket for his big swing. It even had the Master's logo on it!
This was a theme throughout the night, too, as the Ags had an entire faux-putting setup in the dugout to celebrate scoring runs. A short video of their celebration was tweeted out from the PGA Tour account, and quickly garnered a litany of reposts and likes on X.

In a game with two huge highlights, it's kind of great that this is the thing that got the most attention on social media.
Sorrell himself revealed in a postgame interview that, to no one's surprise, the celebration was the brainchild of 12th Man Hayden Schott. One of the biggest personalities on the team, Schott's hijinks made him an immediate fan favorite last year, and that has continued into this season.
It's just great to see this team having fun again. After the disheartening early part of the season, the Aggies look like they're beginning to put something together here, piece by piece. There's a lot left that will test this squad, but we know the talent that A&M has is more than equal to the challenge. Hopefully, this upward trend continues— and we see even more viral celebrations down the stretch of the year.
