The Texas A&M Aggies basketball team is looking for some sweet revenge in the SEC tournament, either against Texas or Vanderbilt.
The Aggies have looked like a much different team from their awful four-game losing streak, and look to be one of the most physical teams in the country when they look unstoppable.
There are definitely still some things at stake with the SEC tournament in the way, but there are some early, unofficial brackets that will be fun to look at.
Texas A&M basketball's potential matchups in March Madness tourney
There are a couple of different matchups for Texas A&M basketball, but they seem possible where the Ags could go up on top to at least the Sweet 16.
The Aggies could beat Troy in the first round, and then would have to play Kansas or Drake in the second round. Kansas has been really mid-tier as of late, and Drake might actually be more of a threat with a team that's peaking at the right time, as Bennett Stirtz could be the guy to go viral in this year's tournament.
The next opponent would be St. Johns or Illinois in the Sweet 16, this could mean for a low-scoring, physical matchup if the Aggies were to face the Red Storm. After all, it looks like Rick Pitino and his guys are on a mission this season.
Florida seems like they have the easiest path to the Elite Eight, and would give the Aggies havoc if they made it to the Elite Eight.
In this CBS Sports bracket, they have the Aggies as the two seed. This would actually be tougher matchups for the Aggies, as they would get Illinois earlier and possibly Texas Tech. The good news: the Ags have already beaten the Red Raiders. Of course, that doesn't mean anything automatic.
While the SEC tournament will be tough, the Ags got to keep their energy for the big one. Barring a monumental collapse, the Aggies are likely to be a three seed in the NCAA tournament, which is already a good start to go on a historic run.
