Bucky McMillan and Texas A&M Basketball heads to Pittsburgh tonight to take on the Panthers as a part of the SEC/ACC challenge (RIP to the Big 10/ACC challenge). The Aggies come into the contest with a 6-2 record while the Panthers come in at 5-3.

The Aggies will be looking for their first road win of the season. Unfortunately, this will be a Quad 3 game for the Aggies as Pittsburgh debuted at 147 in the NET rankings. The Aggies came in at 79, 12th in the SEC. Both teams have only beaten one fellow power conference team. The Aggies dominated Florida State while the Panthers hit a buzzer beater to knock off Ohio State at home.

The Aggies currently have 4 players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Ruben Dominguez with 15.6 points per game. Marcus Hill, Rylan Griffen, and Rashaun Agee are also averaging double figures. Rashaun Agee leads the team by a wide margin with 7.3 rebounds per game. Three Aggies are currently averaging over 3 assists per game, with Rylan Griffen leading the team with 3.8 per game. Josh Holloway and Jacari Lane are right up there with him.

The Aggies are currently favored to win tomorrow night, but not by a wide margin. Current lines are sitting right around 2.5 points in the Aggies' favor. If the Aggies are to pull this game out, they will need to continue their hot shooting, limit turnovers, and continue to defend the perimeter better.

The Panthers are led by Cameron Corhen, who leads the team with 14.8 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. Containing him will be key to the Aggies defensive success.

Another big test for the Aggies in a must win game. A Quad 3 loss is usually devastating to resumes in March. Check back after the game for my instant reaction and alaysis of the game.
