Texas A&M basketball might have more to worry about than just their play on the court

Some photos at Reed Arena drew some engagement on social media and raised questions as to the loyalty of the Texas A&M faithful.

Texas A&M basketball has just dropped their third straight game. Even though we expected some tough competition in SEC play, this Aggie team is much better than just going down three straight times.

Vanderbilt proved to be too good on the perimeter, and perhaps in the difference of a ball rattling around the rim and an inadvertent whistle, the result might've gone in the Aggies' favor.

During the Vanderbilt game, pictures of the crowd at Reed Arena started to draw questions about the attendance of the Aggie student section.

Social media post draws questions on Aggie fans and their attendance

Obviously, students have plenty of assignments they have to get to done in the middle of the week. After all, we all have business to take care of before we think about entertainment.

It was one Aggie sportswriter who got a wide shot of the crowd that made for some conversation during the Vanderbilt game.

Some of the comments mentioned things about an unranked matchup, a hump day game and Texas A&M in sorrow with recent baseball injuries ripping the soul of fans.

This isn't necessarily to attack the Aggie faithful, in fact, they've showed up in the most memorable moments in school history. Tradition will always stay true at Texas A&M, but this is eye-popping in a way. Travis L. Brown, who has covered the team for years, made an even bolder statement in the beginning of the game.

It's interesting how a once top 10 team in the country couldn't draw a decent crowd in what seemed to be a must-win to keep a top three seed alive. Now, some think that's not likely anymore.

Texas A&M basketball is no doubt a dangerous spot with Florida and Auburn coming up. They'll have to have some 'A' games from deep if they want to stand a chance. The students will have also have a chance to redeem themselves at Reed Arena against what's likely going to be still a No. 1 Auburn team in the month of March.
