Texas A&M bracketology: Predicting Aggies' seed in the Men's NCAA Tournament

There are still two huge contests yet to be played for this Texas A&M basketball team, but it's time to call a shot in this one.

Texas A&M basketball, though they are on a two-game skid, is still in the midst of one of the best seasons in program history. The Aggies currently sit at 20-7 and boast some really premier wins this year, including some over teams like Purdue, Texas Tech, and Missouri.

Of course, you can have all the regular season highlights you want— but what matters is what you're able to do in March. This current iteration of the Aggies hasn't yet seen the success on that front that you'd want out of your basketball program, so this is a make it or break it year for Buzz Williams. If he can't make some noise in the tournament this year, he may never be able to in Aggieland.

Most A&M fans are bullish that he can do so, though. This team seems ready-built for the tourney with the way they can play, as long as they can avoid one of those long dry spells they seem to be plagued with.

But what seed will they enter the tournament with? They seem like they're locks for March Madness at this point— a new phenomenon for a Buzz-coached Aggie team— but the question remains of where they will fall in the tourney.

What seed will Texas A&M basketball have in March Madness?

We've speculated and conjectured that the Aggies could have even as high as one of the coveted one seeds, but with these last two losses, that seems all but off the table. A two seed is still in play, without a doubt, but it would take something pretty remarkable for that to come to fruition.

Rather, I think the Aggies are headed for a three-seed. That's the line they sit on right now, according to bracketologist Joe Lunardi, and I don't think losses to Auburn or Florida would move them off that spot very much.

If they beat one or both of those squads, though, this could be a conversation in which the Aggies have a chance to jump up a seed line or so. Some other teams may have to lose, but it's possible the Ags could climb to two in that scenario.
