It looks like Texas A&M and Adidas have officially announced a date for their 1975 throwback uniforms. Fans have been anticipating the 1975 uniforms making a comeback, and that's exactly what they got.

'The Trefoil' as they call it will meet the 12th Man on Oct. 11 against Florida. In what will look to be a game highlighted by the quarterbacks, DJ Lagway and Marcel Reed, the fans will get a treat in Kyle getting to see these uniforms.

There's already plenty of reaction from the uniforms, and it's easy to see why fans are so ready for this.

It looks like what we expected. Still a modern look with the SEC and Adidas logos, respectively. As they call it, "a twist of originality' is definitely on display here. Some have gone as far as to use a 1970s filter with Mike Elko in the shot, replacing the late Emory Bellard.

This looks like a nice, realistic shot of what could've been Elko 50 years ago, but if we're being honest, Elko loves rocking the long sleeve shirts.

For fans, you can purchase them in stores now, but it's going to cost you around $140, and that's before shipping. Of course, the jerseys are to honor the Southwest Conference championship team from 1975. That season is known as one of the most cherished in school history, with the 1998 Big 12 Champions pretty close to that as well.

We're hoping to get a competitive football game with the Florida Gators— or honestly, given how Napier's squad has been playing, maybe even a blowout win for the Aggies— but even if not, this is a celebration of 50 years that all Aggie fans should get behind.
