Texas A&M has already hosted the 4-star WR, but fans have Miami, Florida and Alabama to worry about. But one recruiting source already has it in the bag for the Aggies.
Texas A&M fans can't help but cross their fingers for 4-star WR Jaden Upshaw
Upshaw, at 6-foot-1, does a great job at making cuts in the open field and catching the ball in stride. He's also an underrated blocker, and you can't hate that at all. He could be of great help to Marcel Reed, assuming he stays for 2027. It's not a lock yet for Elko and the Ags, but they are close, according to On3.
On3 predicts Texas A&M will get Upshaw with a 95 percent chance. This would be the first WR commit for the 2027 class, and it would be a banger to get Upshaw, as he already looks like a proven cheat code.
It'd be too much to ask, but fans will be on the edge of their seat when they see elite EDGE Mekai Brown make his commitment on Friday morning. On3 gives Brown a 95 percent chance of making USC his next home, but it's not zero for the Ags just yet. Notre Dame and Ohio State are also in the mix with Brown, too.
Texas A&M has already gotten plenty of wins for the 2027 class, and it looks like they're about to get another one if they snag Upshaw.
